    Excellent
This X-acto set is wonderful. It keeps all the sharps in a nicely organized box safe from the eyes of children. My only disappointment is that the very sharp pointed blades, (two or three per box), lose their tips sharpness after just a few uses. I don’t know if you can sharpen them again your self or if you just have to keep replacing them. I use them to cut contact paper to make a stencil for glass etching. After two stencils the tip is no longer sharp enough to cut the contact paper without tearing it. But all in all it is a very useful tool.

    Customer Reviews:
    fun toy
This toy lives in the pack n play my 8 mo old grandson sleeps in when he is here. He plays with it until he falls asleep and when he wakes up for a bit, it serves it’s purpose. Like all toys it gets used only briefly when he is out and about, but when trapped in a play pen he finds it quite interesting.

    Fun toy
This is a very cute baby flashlight. It has 3 multi-colored LED lights that flash after the button on the handle is pulled. Plus, there are little chewing bugs on the bottom ring and the bottom ring clicks when it is spun. The only downside to this toy for us is that it is too hard for our 9 month old to pull the handle down to start the flashing lights. But, he loves it when we do it for him.

    Great toy for little ones
My 10 month old son LOVES this toy. He plays with it everyday and it keeps his attention for quite some time. There is actually a lot to do on it with the turning keys and wheel. I say great toy, especially for the price!

    my nephew liked it
we gave this to my nephew who is 8 months old and he loved it. He has been lately preoccupied with lights and it was neat that he could play with this one and it was nice that there was a couple of teething toys shaped like keys attached.

    Criminal
I am on my 4th Xbox 360 and today it has just given up the ghost.

    1st - lasted 3 months

    2nd - 1 month

    3rd - 3 months

    current - 7 months

The Indian robot phone support woman has told me that it is out of warranty less than one year after my last return. Overall, the various machines have been in the shop a collective 8 weeks - twice during school holidays. I cannot begin to communicate how disgusted I am with this - even after the well documented design failures it seems nothing has changed.

Do yourself a favor. You should buy this machine if you are willing to pay that price for 1 years operation, then play the odds if you get more than that out of your console.

I have written to microsoft requesting an extended warranty but I don’t like my chances.

Great console experience - but flawed…
I have had the Xbox 360 since late 2007. In that time I have played it extensively. I have had the dreaded three red rings and sent it back to Microsoft under warranty. While very annoyed and frustrated I have to admit that the Microsoft turnaround time was excellent. I had it back in just over a week.

While I think the Xbox 360 offers a great gaming experience there are definitely some major issues:

    1. I think the biggest single issue with the Xbox 360 above all others is its reliability. Prior to the 360 I had a Playstation 2. It never let me down. I have owned numerous computers, televisions, DVDs & other electrical products. You very rarely have to rely on the warranty as they just do not break down. It is a given that when you boot up your computer it turns on (unless a software issue!), when you press the button on your remote the TV fires up and so on. However, with the Xbox 360 every time you press the big button you cross your fingers that it glows green and not red. I never had to worry about that with the Playstation.

    2. The other main issue with the 360 is the noise. I find I have to turn up the TV volume to hear the game. In very quite games the Xbox 360 noise can get annoying.

    3. I am not too worried about the lack of blue-ray player although this may be an issue in future years.

    4. Proprietary hard drive & not being able to save 360 games to the drive.

    5. No Wi-Fi built in to the console. You have to buy the adaptor.

    6. Power brick. Yuk!! Should be built into console like PS3.

    7. Value for money. While the initial outlay for the 20GB unit seems like good value when compared with the PS3 this soon erodes once you buy the wireless adaptor, chargeable pack for controllers, and upgrade the proprietary 20gb hard drive for the expensive 120gb unit. The PS3 is actually better value.

On the plus side (and there are many I think):

    1. Excellent graphics - at least on par if not better than PS3 at present

    2. Excellent games & gameplay

    3. Far better range of games & exclusive titles. Xbox 360 is worth buying for Gears of War, Mass Effect, Bioshock & Halo alone.

    4. Better controller for my money. Feels better in your hand. Triggers are better. Microsoft wireless controllers are very reliable (unlike the console) and connect every time with no loss of connection in gameplay.

    5. Xbox Live. Say no more. In my opinion this service easily justifies the annual fee. It has a huge community, is very well integrated and consistent across games. It just works.

For the next Xbox I would suggest:

    1. Has to be ultra reliable - no more worrying about the red rings.

    2. Must run QUITE!! At least on par with computer.

    3. Must be backwards compatible with 360 games. Too many out there now.

    4. Non proprietary hard drive so you can upgrade to larger drive easily.

    5. Able to save games and other media to hard drive.

    6. Work better with your digital photos and home video.

    7. Blue-ray for games & movies. HD-DVD is dead.

    8. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi built in for wireless internet & accessories.

    9. Looks like a high quality piece of kit that would look good in your TV cabinet.

    10. Power transformer built into console like PS3. That brick is painful.

    11. Usual upgrade in graphics & other specs.

    12. HDMI ports

    13. 4 USB ports

    14. Motion sensing controller.

    15. Small info display on console like a DVD player so you can see what is going on.

    16. Universal slot on console for CF and SD cards from digital camera (like laptops).

    17. Disc insertion like PS3.

In summary I really like the Xbox 360 & once the reliability and noise issues are corrected still think it is the best overall gaming experience (at least for now).

That will do for now. Thanks.

    Disappointment from a loyal user
I’ve been and Xbox user for approximately 8 years. I’ve been a loyal and happy costumer all this time considering Xbox was the best option in the video games world. Until recently I was really disappointed by the Xbox 360 support team and Xbox 360 console.

I was one of the many user that was affected by the famous “Red Eye” defect that the console had from production. After 3 long calls to the support team explaining them what was going on with my console, they accept the fact that it was the “Red Eye” defect. I had to send them my console so they’ll send me a new one. All this process took about 3 weeks. I didn’t care because I will have my Xbox 360 back and I would be playing again and I understood that sometimes problems can occur and they did everything to do it right. Where all my deception came was about two month after I received my console back. I received it with a 1 month Xbox Live card. I didn’t use the card right away because I didn’t have an internet connection at that time. When I got it, I was excited that I would finally use it. So, I connect my Xbox 360 direct to the modem, I redeem my card, gave all my information, address, phone number, email, and credit card info. And start playing online. It was great!!! But oh surprise the very next day. I couldn’t connect to Xbox Live. I called the support team to see if I was doing something wrong. The phone call was about and hour and a half long and at the end they told it might be the cable the one with the problem. I went and bought a new cable and still, I couldn’t connect. Then, I connected my laptop to the same modem and cable and no problem at all. So, the very next day I called again and told them what I did and again an hour and half call trying to fix the problem, doing the same thing as the day before and guess? No solution. So they told me that this time it might be the hard disk that I should try with another one to see if that was the problem and call again. I tried with a hard disk of a friend and nop, it didn’t worked either. So I called again and after another hour and a half of telling them that I already did that, that I already tried that (it seems they didn’t have any information in my case) they concluded it was my console the one with the problem and that I have to send it again to them. I couldn’t believe it. It was only 2 month after I was 3 weeks without it and now, I will be for 4 to 6 weeks without my console for this problem. It isn’t fair. I just redeem my card and just gave my credit card information and I’m not able to use it. I really feel that Xbox robbed me on this. They have all my information and I’m not been able to use it. I told them all this and they told me they will give a wireless control for all the problems. So, my loyalty and patience to Xbox 360 it’s worth $50 USD? I had no option less just to laugh. Again, I’m going to be without my console for a month or so and Xbox having all my information plus all this time I stood to be an Xbox loyal user, that’s really sad and frustrating.

Seriously Xbox has to do a lot of work to keep their users. I’m already thinking on getting a Playstation 3 and try if I wouldn’t have a problem with them. And I’m not the only one, I have an internet blog and a lot of people are agreeing with me. It will be very unfortunate to have to do this, but seriously I don’t see why not.

Do not place console in an enclosed area. Great Machine
Owned the same machine since launch day (Premium version w/o HDMI, 1080i only, loud TSST DVD drive, free mini remote, and higher quality wireless controller), the very first SKU’s. Never took the time to write review.

I had an overheating problem, as the time thought it was RRoD, but later found out that overheating signal is all 4 LED’s lighting up and not 3. This happened because I was stupid by placing the power brick right behind the exhaust. You would not block the exhaust vent on your gaming computer! so the same thing goes to Xbox360 and PS3 as well.

Other than the overheating incident, the machine has been superb. Xbox game look great upconverted, The rest the is no need to say again. My sole reason to buy this machine was to play Halo3, I planned to wait until Halo3’s arrival (scheduled to arrive way before 9/2007), but I got talked into the machine, and camped out overnight to buy it. Between machine launch day and Halo3 launch day I have been blown away by this great gaming machine.

Works good, i enjoy my console
my xbox 360 works great lookin forward to more future purchases from amazon, definitely would recommend to friends
